Travelling to our holiday cottage in Brittany

Our holiday cottage is situated on the outskirts of a market town called Pont l’Abbé near Quimper  in south Finistère. This is a popular place in Brittany with its extensive trail of festivals, folkloric events and live concerts from Easter time, up to the beginning of Autumn. Pont l’Abbé has got a quaint harbour on the river (8 minute walk from the cottage) nearby a buzzing town centre with lots of local shops, bars and restaurants. The nearest beach is in Loctudy about 4 miles away but if you feel adventurous there are plenty other beautiful sandy stretches within a 15-20 minute drive.

There are many beautiful places to discover (or re-discover maybe) and lots of things to do and enjoy around. As said previously this is a great area for an outdoor family holiday.

Most of our visitors travel by car crossing the Channel coming from England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland. We also had a few families coming from Northern Europe (Belgium, Holland, Germany) and a couple from the Mediterranean coast.
