The coastal village of Ile Tudy (10 kms – 6 miles) sits on a beautiful peninsula on the Pont l’Abbé river mouth facing the fishing port of Loctudy. Enjoy this short aerial  movie which gives you a very nice overview of the local area and the Pont L’Abbé estuary. (Footage by Benoit Rapaud)

The fishing port of LE GUILVINEC (11 kms – 7 miles) is the main fishing harbour out of 4 in the Bigouden district – There you can enjoy watching the fishing boats coming back from their campaign and unloading their catch – You can even have a guided tour and visit the fish market before buying fresh caught fish and shellfish and have a drink with local fishermen.
